I’m building a “Gorilla Tag” monkey that behaves just like the in-game avatar when I hold two Meta Quest-style wireless controllers. The right-hand controller must drive the right arm in real time; every tilt, swing, or reach of my own hand is mirrored by the toy, and its fingers curl or extend when I press the physical buttons. The same button layout is mirrored on the left controller, with one key difference: the right joystick swivels the torso, while the left joystick pans the head. The toy has no legs or hidden wheels—it should locomote exactly as a gorilla tagger would, pushing itself along the ground with believable arm physics. Build requirements • Wireless link between controllers and toy (low-latency Bluetooth or comparable protocol). • Mixed materials—plastic shells for weight control, rubber skins at contact points for grip and safety, and metal joints or frames wherever strength is critical. • Smooth, natural arm kinematics and finger actuation capable of surviving energetic play; nothing flimsy. • Fully swappable cosmetic pieces. I need a complete catalogue of every cosmetic ever released in Gorilla Tag (hats, badges, holdables, seasonal items, etc.) together with attachment ideas so the user can dress the toy just like in game. And you are shipping it to me. I’ll sign off once the prototype shows responsive arm tracking, sub-100 ms wireless latency, and the full cosmetics list is verified against the current game catalog. Happy to answer any technical questions as the build progresses.
