Google Form Custom Email

My Google Form is already built and collecting responses; it just needs one final tweak. When a user submits the form, the confirmation email that reaches me must have a subject line that automatically combines two fields from the response: the traveller’s last name and the trip name. The form presently captures personal details and everything else is functioning, so this job centres purely on adjusting the email logic. I expect you will use Google Apps Script or a comparable method native to Google Workspace to pull those two answer values and inject them into the subject line before the email is sent. Here’s what I need delivered: • A working automation tied to the existing form that proves the subject line arrives as “<Last Name> – <Trip Name>”. • A short note (just a paragraph or two) explaining where the script lives and how to adjust field references in case the form is edited in the future.
