Summary
We are looking for a skilled SolidWorks expert to create clean, fully constrained CAD parts and assemblies for AI training datasets. The work requires well-structured feature trees, parametric modeling, and reproducible workflows that are easy to follow and regenerate.
Responsibilities:
Build accurate 3D parts and assemblies in SolidWorks across domains like aerospace, automotive, and healthcare
Ensure fully defined sketches, proper mates, and organized feature trees
Create 2D drawings (SLDDRW) with clear dimensions, datums, and annotations
Provide SolidWorks macro (SWP) files to capture and replay modeling steps
Deliver annotated PDFs of drawings and a short screen recording (MP4 with voiceover) explaining the modeling process
Maintain a structured Excel sheet with key dimensions and parameters (used for JSON conversion)
Requirements:
Strong experience in SolidWorks (part, assembly, and drawing modules)
Understanding of design intent, parametric constraints, and best practices
Ability to produce high-quality, consistent, and well-documented CAD models
Attention to precision, naming conventions, and clarity of workflow
Comfortable working on project-based, milestone-driven tasks
This is not repetitive CAD work it focuses on creating high-quality engineering examples that directly contribute to training AI systems.
