Supervising Producer for Phenomenological Web Series

Project: Chhaya Rekha Production House: Shadowroot Studios (formerly Adi_Vut 3SIXTEE) Format: Multi-episode phenomenological web series (OTT / digital-first) We are moving Chhaya Rekha from script to screen and are seeking a Supervising Producer to act as the Producer’s second-in-command across the full production lifecycle within a lean, independently produced setup. This is a digitally native series, so experience with web-first storytelling, lean production models, and platform-oriented delivery is essential. --- Key Responsibilities 1. Production Oversight * Supervise end-to-end pipeline: development lock → pre-production → shoot → post → delivery * Establish and maintain realistic schedules aligned with budget constraints * Act as central command across departments (direction, production, post) 2. Financial Planning & Control * Support the Producer in budget structuring and contribute to funding strategy * Assist in preparing project packaging for investors / sponsors / OTT platforms * Oversee cost tracking (Movie Magic / Excel or equivalent) via Line Producer * Ensure financial discipline throughout execution 3. Team Assembly & Coordination * Support hiring of director, key HODs, and core crew * Maintain alignment between creative vision and production realities * Supervise Line Producer and/or Production Manager for smooth execution 4. Digital-First Workflow * Design production and post pipelines suited for web-series cadence * Enable creation of platform-ready assets (trailers, teasers, social cuts) * Align timelines for staggered or strategic episode releases 5. Distribution & Positioning * Support outreach and positioning for OTT/platform conversations * Identify relevant festival circuits (if applicable) * Assist in planning a digital-first launch strategy --- Decision Scope * Can approve day-to-day operational decisions within agreed budget limits * Escalates major financial, legal, and creative decisions to the Producer * Acts as the primary coordination hub across all departments --- Success Metrics * Production delivered on schedule and within budget * Cohesive execution without operational bottlenecks * Strong positioning for OTT acquisition / digital release * Audience engagement aligned with the show’s phenomenological tone --- Role Structure * Reports directly to: Producer (Shadowroot Studios) * Oversees: Line Producer, Production Manager, and coordination with Legal --- Ideal Profile * Proven experience in web series / OTT content production * Strong grasp of budgeting + execution (not just advisory) * Ability to operate in lean, high-pressure environments * Clear communicator who can translate vision into actionable workflows --- If you have led or supervised distinctive digital-first projects and can balance creative sensitivity with execution discipline, we should connect to discuss timelines and onboarding.
