Dark Romance Novel → Manhwa/Webtoon Adaptation (Long-Term Project)
Description:
I am looking for an experienced comic/manhwa artist or team to adapt my original dark romance novel into a high-quality manhwa/webtoon format.
Story Details:
- Genre: Dark Romance, Drama, Psychological
- Tone: Mature, intense, emotional, cinematic
- Style reference: Korean manhwa (clean lines, expressive characters, dramatic lighting)
What I Need:
- Character design (main + supporting characters)
- Storyboarding / panel layout (vertical scroll format preferred)
- Full-color illustrated panels
- Facial expressions and emotional depth are VERY important
Art Style Reference:
Similar to popular webtoon/manhwa styles (not cartoonish, more realistic/anime blend)
Project Scope:
- Long-term project (multiple chapters)
- Starting with 1–2 chapters as a test
- Each chapter: ~40–60 panels
Requirements:
- Experience with webtoon/manhwa/comics
- Ability to deliver consistent art style
- Good communication
- Portfolio required (VERY IMPORTANT)
Bonus (not required):
- Experience adapting novels into comics
- Understanding of pacing and cinematic storytelling
Budget:
Open to negotiation depending on quality and experience
