Build a Web-Based Banking Simulation Platform (Zero Boundary)

Project Overview:
We are building a web-based experiential learning platform that simulates a real-world financial ecosystem for students. The system behaves like a mini digital bank + economy simulator, where users (students) perform financial activities such as earning, spending, saving, investing, and managing risk.
The goal is not just functionality, but to create an interactive learning environment where students understand concepts like financial literacy, decision-making, and real-world consequences through simulation.
Core Modules to be Developed:
1. User & Admin System
- Student onboarding via application approval
- Auto-generation of Student ID, Account Number, Wallet
- Role-based access:
- System Admin (full control)
- Camp Admin (camp-level control)
- Student/User
2. Camp Management System
- Create and manage multiple “Camps” (independent environments)
- Ability to switch between camps (multi-tenant architecture)
- Each camp has isolated data but shared logic
3. Wallet & Transaction System
- Student wallet with real-time balance
- Full transaction ledger (double-entry logic)
- Transaction types: transfer, scan & pay, penalties, rewards, etc.
4. Occupation / Marketplace Module
- Students can create “occupations” (like small businesses)
- Add products/services with pricing
- Other students can purchase using in-app currency
- Dynamic product pages and QR-based payment system
5. Insurance Module
- Admin creates insurance policies
- Users can purchase policies
- Claim system with admin approval/rejection flow
6. Penalty & Reward System
- Admin can impose penalties or give rewards
- Users can view and pay penalties
7. Mission Module
- Users define personal missions (goal-setting system)
- Admin approval workflow
8. Mail Automation System
- Configurable email templates
- Automated emails on events (e.g., onboarding, approvals)
9. Dashboard & Analytics
- Visual dashboards for financial behavior, activity tracking, etc.

- Multi-role authentication & authorization
- Real-time wallet updates
- Strong relational database design
- Modular architecture (scalable for future features)
- Clean and intuitive UI/UX
- Admin dashboards for control & monitoring
Technical Expectations:
- Full-stack web development (frontend + backend)
- Suggested stack (flexible):
- Frontend: React / Next.js
- Backend: Node.js / Django / similar
- Database: PostgreSQL / MySQL
- API-driven architecture
- Secure authentication (JWT/session-based)
- Clean, maintainable, and scalable code
Project Complexity & Scope:
This is a medium to high complexity project, involving:
- Multi-tenant system (camp-based data separation)
- Financial transaction logic
- Role-based workflows
- Multiple interconnected modules
This is not a simple CRUD app — it is a simulation platform with interconnected systems.
Deliverables:
- Fully functional web application
- Admin panel + User panel
- Database schema and API documentation
- Clean, scalable codebase
Ideal Freelancer:
- Experience in building complex web applications
- Strong backend + database design skills
- Experience with fintech / simulation systems is a plus
- Ability to understand logic-heavy systems (not just UI work)
Additional Notes:
We already have detailed flows, wireframes, and logic designed. The expectation is to convert these into a working product with proper architecture and execution.
