Project Description
My goal is to have a sleek, responsive business website live within the next month. The site will serve as our company’s online front door, so it needs to load quickly, present information clearly, and feel trustworthy on both desktop and mobile screens.
Scope of work
Design and development should move hand-in-hand. I already have branding elements (logo, colors, fonts) ready to share; everything else—including page layouts, imagery, and copy placeholders—will be created during the build. A lightweight CMS such as WordPress, Webflow, or a comparable platform is preferred so my team can manage content after launch.
Key deliverables
• Fully responsive business website, cross-browser tested
• Home, About, Services, Blog, and Contact pages (additional pages can be added during development if we decide they’re needed)
• Contact form with spam protection, routed to our company email
• Basic on-page SEO (meta tags, alt text, clean URLs)
• Deployment to my chosen hosting provider and a brief hand-over session
Timeline
Everything—design sign-off, development, content population, QA, and go-live—needs to be wrapped up within four weeks of project start, with progress checkpoints each week.
Acceptance criteria
The site must score 90+ on Google PageSpeed for mobile, pass WCAG AA contrast checks, and be editable through the CMS without touching code.
