I am building a marketplace for physical goods where the usual roles are flipped: a buyer publishes the item they want and the maximum price they are willing to pay, then multiple sellers compete by bidding downwards until one of them meets—or beats—that target.
The core flow I need implemented is:
• Secure sign-up / sign-in for both buyers and sellers (email, phone or social login; whichever you suggest that keeps friction low).
• A buyer dashboard to post a wanted item, set the target price, optional photos/specs, and a countdown timer for receiving offers.
• A seller interface that shows live requests, allows incremental under-bidding, auto-notifies when their offer is no longer the lowest, and confirms when they win.
• Real-time updates and push notifications so both sides immediately see new bids, messages, and deal status.
• An admin panel to resolve disputes, verify listings, and pull basic analytics.
Please send a detailed project proposal outlining your recommended tech stack (mobile first; I am open to cross-platform frameworks), high-level architecture, milestone breakdown, and any similar reverse-auction features you have built. If you have creative ideas for keeping the bidding fun and fair—anti-sniping rules, badges, escrow integration—include them as well.
My priority is a smooth, trustworthy experience that can scale once traction builds, so demonstrate how you will handle security, performance, and a roadmap for future enhancements.
