PHP JavaScript Python Software Architecture PostgreSQL Docker Web Development API Development Next.js FastAPI
I want to launch a small SaaS that lets users drop a bank-statement PDF online, pay, and instantly download clean transaction data. Tech stack is fixed: Python + FastAPI for the parsing API, Next.js (TypeScript) for the dashboard, and Supabase (PostgreSQL + Auth + Storage) for user management and files. Core flow • User signs up / logs in • Uploads an HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Axis or Kotak PDF • Back-end extracts transactions, normalises fields, and stores a copy in Supabase • User pays through Razorpay Checkout (one-time purchase for now) • After payment, they can download the data in both CSV and Excel formats or revisit the file in their history What I need from you 1. End-to-end code in a public GitHub repo so I can follow the commit history 2. Clean, well-commented extraction scripts for each bank (regex or tabula-py/camelot, whichever you prefer) 3. Fully wired FastAPI endpoints with JWT auth via Supabase 4. Next.js front end: drag-and-drop upload, progress bar, Razorpay modal, download links, simple account page 5. Dockerised dev setup and concise README so I can deploy to Fly.io or Render later Timeline & budget I’d like a functional beta online within a month and the polished version wrapped up in six to eight weeks. I have set aside ₹25-30 k and will split it across logical milestones (parsers, payments, UI polish, deployment). Location If you are in Mumbai we can catch up over coffee; otherwise remote collaboration is perfectly fine as long as you can jump on the occasional call. Show me two or three relevant repos that prove you’ve built with FastAPI or scraped complex PDFs before, and tell me how you plan to tackle the five different statement formats. Looking forward to working together!
