Project Description
I need a polished, game-ready explosion built in Niagara for an open-air level in Unreal Engine 5. The look is more “arcane burst” than military ordinance—glowing shock-wave, energy embers, light-responsive smoke and a subtle ground scorch that fades over time. Performance has to stay solid on mid-range hardware, so a GPU-based system with sensible LODs is important.
Here is what I’m after:
• Niagara System (.uasset) that can be dropped into any outdoor landscape scene.
• All supporting materials: flipbook textures, mesh particles, dynamic materials, and any custom HLSL needed.
• Simple Blueprint hook (or Niagara User Parameters) so designers can trigger the effect, scale it up or down, and tint the core color.
• Clean folder structure and naming that matches Epic’s guidelines.
Acceptance criteria
• Runs at 60 fps on an RTX-2060 test scene (1920×1080).
• No visual artefacts when viewed from 0–500 cm.
• Works in Forward or Deferred rendering.
• Single click migration between projects (no missing references).
If you’ve shipped similar magic or special-effect explosions before, please link a short clip or reel along with your bid so I can see your style.
