We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer (or small agency) to build StonePassport, a compliance-focused web and mobile platform for the recycled construction aggregates industry. The system tracks material batches from the lab to the job site via "Material Passports" and QR verification. References for Development: 1. Industry Leaders: - Qflow (UK): Focus on OCR capabilities for reading photos of paper tickets. - Soil Connect (USA): Study their matchmaking algorithm and e-ticketing system. - SustainIQ (UK/Ireland): Analyze dashboarding and data aggregation for high-level reporting. - Soil Passport (Belgium): Review their "passport" concept for data aggregation. 2. Global Best Practices in Compliance Logic: - Allbaro (South Korea): IoT interlocks between software and hardware on trucks. - Digital Waste Tracking (UK Gov): API structures allowing private apps to report to government databases. - RENTRI (Italy) & e-SIR (Spain): Digitized chain of custody systems at a legal level across the EU. 3. Enterprise & Hardware-Led Solutions: - AMCS Group (Ireland): Fleet logistics and weight-bridge integrations. - Vitruvi (Canada/Global): GIS/mapping integrations for large-scale site tracking. - HCSS (USA): Telematics integrations for equipment and fuel tracking. Strategic Note: StonePassport.ie focuses on being Article 27 Specific, acting as a Tax Shield by emphasizing chemistry (Lab API) and legal compliance (EPA Portal) rather than building a generic waste app. Technical Specification: StonePassport.ie (v1.0) 1. Core System Objectives: Primary Goal: Create an immutable digital chain of custody for soil and stone by-products. Primary Value: Automate Article 27 compliance and verify Waste Recovery Levy exemptions via GPS and Lab API integration. Tech Stack Preference: FlutterFlow (Frontend), Supabase/Firebase (Backend), Google Maps API (Geofencing), Stripe (Payments). 2. Functional Architecture (The 4 Modules): Module A: Site & Lab Admin: Input: Admin uploads PDF Lab Reports (S.R. 16:2026). Logic: The system must parse the PDF or accept API data from MTS/Mattest to confirm chemical thresholds like Total Sulfur, ASR. Output: Status "Certified" or "Rejected" for a specific stockpile batch. Module B: Field Capture: Photo-Log: Foreman takes a photo of the truck. Metadata: App must auto-capture precise GPS Coordinates within 50m accuracy, Timestamp in UTC, Unique Device ID, with Offline Mode caching data if no 4G/5G is available, syncing automatically once back in range. Module C: The Digital Passport: Generation: A unique, encrypted QR code generated per 20-tonne load with TTL security to prevent reuse of dockets for different loads. Interoperability ensures QR codes point to a web-viewable "Public Passport" page so third-party inspectors can verify without needing the app installed. Module D: Compliance Vault: Closing the Loop: Passports are marked "Complete" only when destination GPS coordinates match pre-set recovery site coordinates. Automated PDF export formatted exactly to Irish EPA’s Article 27 notification requirements is required. 3. Key API & Integrations: Google Maps API: For geofencing the "Source Site" and "Destination Site." OCR/PDF Parser: To extract data from Lab certificates without manual entry. Supabase/Firebase Auth: Role-based access for Foremen, Drivers, and Project Managers. Hardware API: Bridge for GPS hardware telematics ensuring future-proofing capabilities. 4. Developer Success Metrics: a) Speed-to-Ticket: A foreman should be able to issue a passport in under 15 seconds. b) Data Reliability: Ensure 100% accurate matching of GPS logs to Site IDs. c) Audit Readiness: One-click generation of a "Chain of Custody" report for specified date ranges ensuring high-security transaction integrity. Timeline: 2 weeks
