I’m ready to turn a concept for a simple yet effective productivity tool into a polished Android application. The core idea is straightforward: help users organise daily tasks quickly, stay focused, and track small wins without a steep learning curve or distracting extras.
What I already have:
• A rough wireframe that outlines the main screens (task list, focus timer, progress dashboard).
• A short feature priority list.
What I need from you:
• Translate the wireframe into a clean, intuitive Android UI that feels fast on recent devices (API 24+).
• Build the core logic for creating, editing, re-ordering and archiving tasks, plus a lightweight timer that can run in the background.
• Local data persistence (Room or another robust solution) so users never lose their lists when offline.
• Basic analytics hooks so I can track feature usage later.
• An APK for testing and the full, well-commented source code in Git when we’re done.
Acceptance criteria:
1. App installs and runs error-free on Android 7.0 through the latest public release.
2. No action in the main flow takes more than one second to respond on a mid-range device.
3. All UI elements match the supplied wireframe and adapt gracefully to portrait and landscape.
4. Tasks, timer state and completion stats must persist after a full device reboot.
5. Code passes review for clarity, modularity and adherence to Android best practices (Kotlin preferred, Java acceptable).
