Project Description
My co-working space needs a polished, cross-platform mobile experience that lets members browse live availability, reserve workspaces or meeting rooms, and pay seamlessly—all from their phones. The same back-end data must feed a web-based admin console where my team can track occupancy, view real-time analytics, and create bookings on a member’s behalf.
Here is the flow I have in mind. A visitor downloads the app on either iOS or Android, creates an account, and sees a calendar showing open desks and meeting slots. With a tap they choose the slot, confirm the price, and complete payment inside the app. Right after checkout they receive an in-app confirmation and an email receipt. On our side the dashboard updates instantly so staff can greet the guest or rearrange inventory.
Core requirements
• Native or cross-platform build that runs smoothly on both iOS and Android
• Member sign-up / log-in with social and email options
• Real-time workspace and meeting-room availability pulled from a central database
• In-app payment gateway with secure tokenisation and downloadable receipts
• Push and email notifications for confirmations, reminders, and cancellations
• Admin web dashboard with search, filters, manual booking creation, occupancy stats, and exportable reports
• Scalable back-end (Node.js, Firebase, or similar) with REST/GraphQL APIs
• Clean, modern UI that mirrors our brand colours and typography
• Full source code, build instructions, and deployment support for App Store and Play Store submission
Acceptance criteria
1. A test build on TestFlight and Google Play Internal Track demonstrating end-to-end booking and payment.
2. A live dashboard URL showing synchronous updates when bookings are made or modified.
3. Code passes an agreed set of functional tests and basic security checks.
4. Handover of all assets, build scripts, and environment variables so we can extend the platform internally.
If you already have experience with tools like Flutter, React Native, Stripe/Paystack integrations, and Firebase/Firestore real-time databases, you will hit the ground running. I am ready to kick off as soon as we finalise the tech stack and rough timeline, and I’m happy to break the work into milestones—from prototype to launch.
