Report Writing Electrical Engineering
I represent the owner of a multi-unit building with 20 Units. Seventeen - 1-Bedroom Units @650SF and Three Studios @450 SF. Ovens/Ranges are GAS, and Hot Water is Central (also gas). Not loading Apt Electric Panels Units have D/W, W/D, Central AC (with individual Roof Compressors and interior AHUs) Refrigerator, LED Lighting and normal Countertop Kitchen Appliances. No garbage disposals/Aerators. In the Meter Room, FPL provides 600 AMPs Breaker to 20 Meters with 50 Amp Breakers feeding each Unit interior Elec Panel. (house panel is separate and not loading off the 600 Amps Breaker) Question. Based on Florida Electric Code, and the existing 600 Amp FPL Service, can I increase the Unit Breaker sizes to 60, 65, or 70 amps for each unit? Looking for an FL Licensed Electrical Engineer to answer this question. Deliver Signed Opinion Letter along with any necessary calculations.
