Project Description
The project centres on B&R Automation Studio. I have several motion- and process-oriented machines that need a cohesive PLC solution plus a reliable virtual twin.
Scope
• Two tracks of work will run in parallel. Brand-new code is required for upcoming equipment, while certain legacy projects need refactoring and feature extensions.
• Core functionality is machine control, covering precise motion sequences as well as temperature, pressure and safety-related process loops.
• A full simulation must be built with Industrial Physics inside Automation Studio so we can test every axis, sensor and interlock before commissioning.
What I will provide
– Hardware I/O lists, existing project archives where available, and functional descriptions for each machine
– Remote access to the test rack and the Industrial Physics licence
– Response deadlines for sprint reviews
Deliverables
1. Clean, well-commented Automation Studio projects (source + compiled)
2. Industrial Physics model linked to the PLC variables and motion objects
3. Start-up documentation: parameter sheets, network drawings, and step-by-step download / startup guide
4. Change log detailing every modification on legacy codebases
Acceptance criteria
• All axes home, jog and run in simulation without faults.
• Process PID loops hold setpoints within ±2 %.
• Code compiles with zero warnings under the current Automation Studio release.
• My onsite technician can redeploy the project from your documentation alone.
If you have a solid track record with B&R, mapp Technology and Industrial Physics, let’s discuss timelines and milestones.
