Project Description
I have raw information sitting in multiple places and I need it turned into clear, interactive insight inside Power BI. The underlying datasets may vary—sales, customer, or even financial records—so please be comfortable working with virtually any structured data I supply. To start, I will hand over Excel/CSV extracts and give you direct access to a SQL-based database; you will be responsible for connecting, cleaning, transforming, and modelling that data with Power Query, DAX, and, where useful, native SQL.
Once the model is solid, I want sleek, drill-through dashboards that business users can explore on their own. Standard visuals are fine as long as they are well-thought-out and include slicers, bookmarks, and tooltips that make the story obvious at a glance.
Deliverables
• A reusable Power BI (.pbix) file with all queries, relationships, measures, and visuals
• One master dashboard plus supporting pages, fully interactive and formatted for desktop and web view
• Documentation (or page-level comments) outlining data refresh steps and any custom calculations
I will consider the job complete when the report refreshes without errors, the visuals match the underlying numbers, and navigation feels intuitive to a non-technical stakeholder. If you have sample work or a quick mock-up approach, I’m happy to review it before we begin.
