I need help transferring a collection of digital files—Excel workbooks, PDFs, and plain-text documents—into a single, clean dataset. Each file holds a blend of text descriptions and numeric values, and everything must be keyed (or copied) with absolute accuracy into the template I will provide.
The job involves:
• Opening each source file, extracting every field exactly as it appears, and entering it into the corresponding column or cell in my template.
• Double-checking totals, dates, and any calculated figures so that the numbers reconcile with the originals.
• Preserving text formatting where it carries meaning (e.g., capitalization in product codes).
I will supply:
• A folder with all source files.
• A simple set of naming conventions and validation rules.
• The target spreadsheet (Google Sheets or Excel—your choice).
Deliverable: a fully populated, error-free dataset ready for immediate analysis. I will review by running spot checks and comparing random records against the originals; zero discrepancies is the acceptance benchmark.
