I’m looking for an experienced Excel professional to build a clean, high-end estimating template for construction/electrical use. The final product should look professional enough to send directly to clients.
Key Requirements:
* Add my company logo at the top (fully locked – not editable, not movable)
* Include a header section for company and project information (company name, phone, email, project name, date, etc.)
* Main table must automatically expand as new items are entered (Excel table functionality)
* Blue-themed design (professional, modern—not overly bright)
* Must be compatible with Excel on Windows and iPad
* Prefer no macros (use formulas, structured tables, and protection)
Table Columns:
* Item # (auto-increment)
* Description
* Manufacturer
* Quantity
* Unit Price
* Total (auto-calculated)
Design & Functionality:
* Clean, professional layout suitable for client-facing estimates
* Header row frozen for easy scrolling
* Alternating row shading for readability
* Bold, well-defined column headers
* Grand total calculation at the bottom
* Locked/protected template so only input fields are editable
* Proper spacing and alignment (no cluttered layout)Bonus (if possible):
* Light branding consistency (matching blue tones with logo)
* Print-ready format (fits nicely on PDF without scaling issues)
Deliverables:
