Linux NoSQL Couch & Mongo MySQL Node.js Web Hosting Git MongoDB GoDaddy
I’m moving a live Node.js + MongoDB web application off Base44 and onto my GoDaddy hosting account. I need the entire stack copied over with zero or near-zero downtime, all data intact, and the app running exactly as it does today. The scope covers: • Copying the existing Git/ZIP codebase to the GoDaddy server and configuring the Node.js runtime, environment variables, and process manager (PM2 or equivalent). • Exporting the MongoDB database from Base44, importing it into GoDaddy, and updating any connection strings. • Activating the SSL certificate that comes with my GoDaddy plan so every route resolves over HTTPS. • Re-creating current email services (addresses, forwarders, SMTP settings) on GoDaddy so transactional mails keep flowing without interruption. • Pointing my custom domain to GoDaddy and confirming DNS propagation, redirects, and naked/WWW variants all resolve securely. I’ll consider the migration complete once: 1. The site loads on GoDaddy with no console or server errors. 2. All collections show the correct record counts in the new MongoDB instance. 3. SSL padlock is green across the domain and sub-routes. 4. System emails send and receive successfully from the new server. Please bring recent GoDaddy Node.js or similar migration experience—links or brief notes are helpful so I can kick this off quickly.
