Project Description
I need a full suite of workshop fabrication drawings for a metal-working project that centres on structural beams. The goal is to hand my shop documents that require no additional interpretation before cutting, drilling, or welding begins.
Scope
My preliminary sketches and engineering notes are ready; what’s missing is a detailed 2D documentation package. Every plate, web, flange and connection must show precise dimensions, hole locations, edge preparations, weld symbols and clear section views. Although I do not need full 3D modelling, the drawings must carry enough information for accurate nesting and CNC programming.
Expected deliverables
• General arrangement drawing showing beam positions and overall framing context
• Individual part drawings with detailed measurements and tolerances
• Assembly drawings indicating weld sequences and fitting instructions
• Bill of materials and cut list that aligns line-for-line with the drawings
• Files supplied in PDF for print and DWG/DXF for machine import
Accuracy, clarity and adherence to common steel-fabrication standards (AWS or equivalent) will be my acceptance criteria. If you are comfortable turning concept sketches into shop-ready metalwork documents, let’s talk about timelines and any additional information you need.
