Project Description
I need a developer who can set up and document a reliable OAuth flow for all four Meta products my web-app relies on: Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger.
Scope of work
• Configure secure OAuth endpoints and callback URLs for each platform.
• Instagram: obtain and integrate the “Direct messages” permission so my app can read and send DMs.
• WhatsApp Business API: enable exchange of text messages and media files (photos and videos), including webhooks for delivery/read receipts.
• Facebook & Messenger: complete standard login and page-level permission flow so users can connect pages and manage messaging features.
• Handle access-token refresh logic and long-lived tokens.
• Prepare the application for Meta App Review, supplying clear testing instructions and permission justification.
• Deliver clean, well-commented code snippets (language-agnostic or in the stack you prefer), environment variable samples, and a concise setup guide that lets me reproduce the integration on staging and production.
Success criteria
1. All four OAuth flows complete without errors and return valid access tokens.
2. Instagram DMs and WhatsApp text/photo/video messages can be sent and received in the app’s test environment.
3. Documentation is clear enough for another developer to redeploy the setup in under an hour.
