Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) Developer with deep expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDP), data modeling, identity resolution, and real-time data activation.
This role will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions on Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform / Data 360), enabling unified customer profiles, segmentation, and activation across Salesforce and external ecosystems.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Salesforce ecosystem, data engineering, and marketing/CRM integrations.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Cloud (Data 360) Implementation
* Design and implement solutions on Salesforce Data Cloud
* Configure:
* Data Streams (batch & real-time ingestion)
* Data Model Objects (DMOs)
* Identity Resolution rules
- Build Unified Customer Profiles (Golden Records)
Data Integration & Ingestion
* Integrate data from:
* Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing)
* External systems (APIs, data warehouses, S3, BigQuery, etc.)
* Design scalable ingestion pipelines using:
* Streaming & batch frameworks
* Ensure data normalization and harmonization
Identity Resolution & Data Modeling
* Design and implement:
* Matching & reconciliation rules
* Identity graphs
* Optimize data models for performance and scalability
Segmentation & Activation
* Build advanced customer segments using:
* Calculated Insights
* SQL-based segmentation
* Activate data into:
* Marketing Cloud
* Journey Builder
* Advertising platforms
- Enable real-time personalization use cases
Automation & Custom Development
* Develop custom logic using:
* SQL
* APIs
* Salesforce tools
* Automate:
* Data ingestion workflows
* Data quality checks
* Activation pipelines
Data Governance & Compliance
* Implement:
* Data privacy (GDPR, CCPA)
* Consent management
- Ensure secure handling of PII and customer data
Collaboration & Leadership
* Work closely with:
* Marketing teams
* Data Engineering teams
* CRM stakeholders
* Lead solution design discussions
* Mentor junior developers
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
* 9+ years in:
* Data Engineering / CRM / CDP
* 2+ years hands-on with Salesforce Data Cloud
Technical Skills
* Strong expertise in:
* SQL (advanced transformations, segmentation)
* Data modeling (customer 360 models)
* APIs & integrations
Salesforce Ecosystem
* Hands-on experience with:
* Salesforce Sales Cloud
* Service Cloud

* Strong understanding of:
