Project Description
I need a full-stack web application that lets me run every aspect of our school’s fee and expenditure workflow from one browser window. The interface should feel modern, with smooth, unobtrusive animations that make daily use pleasant rather than flashy. Data integrity matters, so please wire everything to a solid SQL database.
Core flow I want to accomplish
• Secure admin dashboard where I log in and create new student records for classes Pre-Primary through X, capturing name, parents’ names, date of birth, Aadhaar, phone and address.
• Fee master where I define or later adjust admission, hostel, transport, school and tuition fees.
• Per-student ledger that lets me record payments under any of those heads, automatically calculating outstanding balances.
• Expenditure module that tags each outgoing cost to its own category so that end-of-month reporting compares income vs spend at a glance.
• One-click printable receipts (PDF or direct thermal print) for any payment or fee summary.
• Search or filter view where I can instantly see the remaining amount owed by every student in every class.

Each role only needs access to the information relevant to them—for example, teachers see their class lists, students and parents see personal fee status and receipts, but only the admin can edit data or set fees.
Tech notes
I am comfortable if you choose React, Vue, or Angular for the front end and Node.js, Django, or a similar framework for the back end, as long as the final stack supports a structured SQL database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar) and follows best practices for authentication, authorization and RESTful APIs.
Acceptance criteria
• Responsive, animation-enhanced UI with clear navigation.
• Clean, documented database schema and seed data for quick testing.
• Role-based access control fully working.
• Receipt printing produces tidy, professional output.
• Complete source code in a private repo plus a brief setup guide.
