Project Description
I need a back-end dashboard that sits behind a USSD menu, captures every interaction, and automatically passes the right data to an SMS module for further processing and outbound messaging.
The system must log and structure:
• Customer preferences
• Payment details
• Service requests
• Phone numbers and the location where each request is made
• Any free-text feedback the customer sends
It also has to let me sort or filter these fields on demand so I can pull quick reports or export the raw data.
Flow I have in mind
1. A customer dials the USSD code.
2. The menu collects the items above and writes them to a database in real time.
3. The dashboard displays each record, lets me search, and triggers a call to the SMS gateway’s API so the correct template or notification is dispatched immediately.
I’m comfortable with any modern web stack, as long as the code is clean, documented, and easy for another developer to extend later. If you already have experience with USSD application development and SMS gateway integration (Beem, Africa’s Talkings, or similar) you’ll have a head start.
Deliverables
• Fully functional USSD back-end with secure database schema
• Web-based dashboard for viewing, filtering, exporting, and manual overrides
• API or webhook that hands each record off to the SMS service in real time
• Basic test scripts plus short setup & hand-over guide
