Project Description
CIVIP is a digital platform that manages the complete lifecycle of electronic devices, from the moment a user has an unused device to the point where they decide its final destination.
Unlike traditional platforms, CIVIP is not limited to a single action (such as buying or selling). Instead, it integrates multiple paths within a single system:
● Recommerce (buy/sell):
It functions as a marketplace similar to OLX or Facebook Marketplace, where users can list, browse, and negotiate electronic devices. However, CIVIP introduces more structured product information (condition, diagnostics, traceability), closer to Back Market.
● Services (repair):
Beyond the marketplace, the platform connects users with technicians, operating under a matching logic similar to Uber, where users can schedule, coordinate, and track a service.
● Social impact (donation):
It enables users to direct devices to organizations or individuals in need, creating a reliable and traceable process—something that is currently not centralized in existing platforms.
● Environmental management (recycling):
It integrates responsible e-waste (RAEE) disposal pathways, connecting users with certified recycling partners, addressing a real problem that currently lacks a clear digital solution for end users.
The key differentiator of CIVIP is that it does not force users to decide upfront what to do with their device. Instead, it guides them through a structured, assistant-like flow that evaluates the condition of the device and suggests the best option: sell, repair, donate, or recycle.
In this sense, CIVIP combines the logic of traditional marketplaces with a guided decision-making system, similar in experience to TurboTax, where users move step by step until they reach the best possible decision.
