Project Description
I’m ready to turn my current personal-slash-business site into a dedicated home for my marching-band music catalog, and I want it to feel unmistakably professional from the very first click. The project has two core parts: moving everything to a new domain and carrying out a complete visual and structural redesign that showcases the scores I’ve written for high-school programs.
I can share several reference sites so you’ll have a clear picture of the clean, modern aesthetic I’m after. Functionally, the new build needs a catalog section where visitors can preview titles (audio clips, short score PDFs, basic specs) and then reach out through an embedded inquiry form to start the purchase/licensing conversation. Smooth navigation, fast load times, and mobile responsiveness are non-negotiable because the ultimate goal is to improve my overall business presence.
Key deliverables
• Register and connect the new domain, handling any necessary redirects from the old URL
• Design and develop a responsive site (WordPress, Webflow, or another CMS you recommend) that mirrors the style of my reference examples
• Build the music catalog with intuitive filtering and an inquiry funnel tied to email or a lightweight CRM
• Basic on-page SEO so directors searching for “marching band show music” can actually find me
• Launch, test, and hand off before August so the site is live for fall show-planning season
Please include links to past web projects—especially work you’ve done for creative portfolios, musicians, or small businesses—so I can see how you translate vision into finished product. I look forward to working with someone who understands both great design and the practical needs of a niche music business.
