Project Description
I have a finished stereo mix that still needs the final polish only a skilled mastering engineer can provide. My goal is a clean, commercially-competitive master that translates well across streaming platforms, radio, and live sound systems without losing the musicality of the track.
Here’s what I will deliver to you:
• 24-bit WAV of the final mix (and stems if you prefer)
• Reference tracks that capture the sound I’m after
• Any loudness targets or special format requirements up front
What I need back:
• A mastered 24-bit WAV at –14 LUFS (or your recommended spec for the style)
• A high-quality MP3 for quick sharing
• A brief report of the processing chain you used so I can learn from the process
I’m open-minded about the exact tools—whether you prefer an analog chain, in-the-box solutions such as iZotope Ozone, FabFilter, or a hybrid setup—so long as the end result hits the mark sonically.
When you send your proposal, please walk me through:
• Your typical mastering workflow
• The key pieces of gear or software you rely on
• Turnaround time for a single track and any options for revisions
Detailed project proposals that show you’ve listened to at least one reference track will stand out immediately. Let me know how you’d elevate this mix to a professional, release-ready master.
