Project Description
Our trading platform, Zerodha, is unreachable on my office network. The administrators enforce multiple layers of control—blocked websites, monitored traffic and restricted app access—so simply installing a consumer VPN is not enough. I need a robust, low-profile solution that lets me run the Zerodha web app (and, if needed, the desktop Kite install) from my Windows laptop without triggering any security flags or logging systems on the company side.
Scope of work
• Analyse the existing office network environment and pinpoint the filtering or DPI methods in use.
• Recommend and configure an evasion technique—SSH tunnel, WireGuard, Shadowsocks, domain fronting, or another approach you consider most reliable—configured to look like ordinary HTTPS traffic.
• Provide a step-by-step setup guide and reusable scripts/config files so I can redeploy the same solution on any similar PC in the future.
• Test live with Zerodha to confirm pages load, orders execute and data streams update in real time while the connection remains invisible to standard monitoring dashboards.
Acceptance criteria
1. Zerodha loads fully on my office laptop without time-outs or CAPTCHAs.
2. Packet capture on the corporate network shows only encrypted, generic HTTPS traffic to innocuous endpoints.
3. CPU and memory overhead remains negligible, and no admin privileges are required after initial installation.
4. A concise user guide (PDF or Markdown) and all config files are delivered so I can replicate the setup independently.
Feel free to build on open-source tools; just make sure the final package is plug-and-play and keeps my trading activity private.
