Project Description
I’m building a web-based gaming platform that runs entirely in the browser and I’m looking for a developer who can take it from concept to launch. The core of the job is to create a responsive, lightweight web application that hosts one or more HTML5/JavaScript games, handles user accounts, tracks scores, and delivers smooth, low-latency play across desktop and mobile browsers.
Scope of work
• Plan the overall architecture for both front-end and back-end, choosing the stack you feel is best suited for real-time gaming (React, Vue, Node, WebSocket, WebGL, or similar—open to your recommendations).
• Build the main application shell: landing page, lobby, game view, profile/leaderboard areas, and an admin dashboard for basic content and player management.
• Integrate at least one playable demo game so I can see the framework in action; additional games will be added later on the same codebase.
• Implement secure sign-up / login, session handling, and basic data persistence (cloud DB or hosted SQL).
• Optimise for fast load times, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile responsiveness.
• Set up version control and provide clear deployment instructions so I can host the final build on my own server or a cloud service.
What I’d like to see in your proposal
I only need a concise outline of your relevant experience—links to live web gaming or interactive projects you’ve shipped, the tech stacks you’re comfortable with, and a rough idea of how you’d structure this platform. No lengthy formal proposal is required at this stage.
If you’ve already worked on real-time multiplayer, leaderboard systems, or similar high-interaction sites, please highlight that. Once we’ve agreed on the approach, we can break the work into logical milestones and timelines.
I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right partner, and I’m happy to answer any questions you have about the vision or feature set.
