Project Description
I’m looking for a dedicated and highly committed Data Analyst to collaborate closely on building a confidential messaging analytics system end-to-end.
The role involves designing and implementing event-level tracking across the full messaging lifecycle:
Sent → Delivered → Opened → Clicked → Unsubscribed / Converted
Key expectations:
Strong fundamentals in SQL (SELECT, GROUP BY, COUNT DISTINCT, CASE WHEN, joins, date functions)
Solid understanding of data modeling (event tables, dimension tables, one-row-per-event design)
Ability to differentiate and analyze unique users vs total event counts
Experience building dashboards in Power BI (or similar tools)
Deep understanding of email/messaging metrics such as Delivery Rate, Open Rate, CTR, Conversion Rate, and Bounce Rate
Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable data insights
This is a hands-on, end-to-end role — from data structuring and querying to building meaningful analytics and dashboards. The work involves sensitive data, so professionalism and confidentiality are critical.
