Project Description
I run a CNC machining business and I am ready to expand our order book. To do that, I need someone who can combine energetic phone outreach with on-site factory visits across the manufacturing sector. Your job is straightforward: get in front of production or purchase managers, explain our machining capabilities, and secure fresh orders that translate directly into new revenue.
Most of your day will be split between two activities. First, you will cold-call qualified manufacturing prospects, introduce our CNC services, and book appointments. Second, you will follow up in person, tour their facilities when invited, and close the sale on the spot or set clear next steps toward a purchase order. I will supply a preliminary lead list, product brochures, and pricing guidelines; you will bring the persuasive voice, the travel readiness, and the persistence to turn interest into signed work orders.
Deliverables I will look for each week:
• Call log with contact names, numbers dialed, and outcomes
• Brief visit report for every plant you step into, including decision-maker notes and agreed actions
• Copies or scans of any RFQs or purchase orders generated
Success is measured simply—an increase in confirmed CNC orders. If you know how to navigate manufacturing environments, handle objections over the phone, and build trust face-to-face, let’s talk and start filling the machines.
