Project Description
I’m expanding our early-stage engineering team and need a product-minded full-stack developer who is comfortable owning entire features from idea to deployment. Our stack is centred on Python/Django, so deep knowledge there is essential, but if you have prior exposure to Node.js or Rails it will still help you reason about architectural trade-offs as we scale.
The first milestone is a web-based dashboard that pharma QA teams will use daily. You’ll design and implement the full user management system—signup, role-based access, permissions, audit logs, the works—and wire it cleanly into our existing AI/ML service layer. Because the app is customer-facing, thoughtful UX decisions, responsive layouts, and solid test coverage matter just as much as clean backend code.
Beyond that initial release, you’ll help shape data models, review pull requests, automate deployments, and generally act as a technical partner to the founders. Expect to touch everything from PostgreSQL migrations to React components and AWS infrastructure; your decisions will ship straight to production and be in front of real users within days, not months.
If building something from the ground up, iterating quickly with real customer feedback, and taking true ownership interests you, let’s talk.
