I have a collection of Word and Excel files containing purely text-based information. Each record from those documents needs to be keyed into my database so everything sits in one structured place and can be queried later. The task is straightforward but accuracy is critical: I need every field reproduced exactly as it appears in the source file, with consistent formatting and no omissions.
Here’s what I will hand over:
• All Word/Excel source files, clearly labelled.
• A simple database template (cloud-based) with the correct field names already created.
What I need back:
• All records entered, double-checked against the originals.
• A brief completion log noting any ambiguous entries or missing values you encounter.
I will review by spot-checking random records against the source files; any discrepancies must be corrected before final sign-off. If you’re fast, meticulous, and comfortable working directly inside a database interface, this should be a smooth project for both of us.
