Project Description
I’m putting together a self-help guide called “I Can Understand Me” and I need a writer who can shape it into a clear, engaging resource focused on personal development. The book should walk readers through practical techniques for understanding their own patterns, setting meaningful intentions, and steadily improving day-to-day behaviours.
Here’s what I have in mind: we start with a concise framework that explains the importance of self-awareness, then move into actionable exercises, reflection prompts, and real-life examples. While the core theme is personal development, I’m open to weaving in goal-setting ideas, habit-building insights, or motivational anecdotes whenever they strengthen the message. Tone matters—I’m aiming for conversational, encouraging, and free of jargon so readers can put advice into practice right away.
Deliverables
• A complete manuscript (approx. 20,000–25,000 words) structured into chapters with summaries and exercises
• A brief chapter-by-chapter outline for approval before drafting begins
• Final files in both editable Word/Google Docs format and print-ready PDF
Acceptance Criteria
• Content is original, well-researched, and plagiarism-free
• Each chapter ends with at least one practical activity or reflection prompt
• Language remains friendly, motivational, and accessible throughout
If you’ve successfully ghost-written or edited personal development material before and can show samples, I’d love to see them so we can get started right away.
