I already run a live Android application that connects customers, delivery partners, and my operations team. The core product works, but it now needs a thorough upgrade so the entire ecosystem feels faster, smarter, and easier to use.
The first milestone is a solid maps integration focused on real-time tracking. I want users to follow their delivery icon live, view accurate ETAs, and see driver movement without noticeable lag. If you have experience with Google Maps SDK (or any other mapping stack that can plug into Android) and have solved the usual battery, accuracy, and rate-limit issues, you will feel right at home here.
Beyond maps, the release must include:
• Refreshed customer, admin, and delivery-partner panels tied together through clean, well-documented backend APIs
• Instant push notifications that actually reach every device on time
• A wallet module that records balance changes, supports promo credits, and syncs reliably offline-to-online
• Offers and discount handling that the admin can turn on or off in seconds
• Search optimisation so product and address lookups are fast even on low-end phones
• Performance tuning throughout the codebase to keep startup time under two seconds
• A one-click copy tool for any address or order details wherever they appear in the app
Acceptance criteria
1. Real-time driver location shown within one second of actual movement, tested on at least three network conditions.
2. End-to-end order flow: customer places order, admin assigns, partner delivers, wallet updates, customer completes feedback – all actions appear in logs and dashboards instantly.
3. Play Store build passes Google’s latest policy checks, uses current SDK targets, and ships without critical or major issues in Firebase Crashlytics for a full week of staged rollout.
