I have a set of raw financial figures that I need transformed into clear, decision-ready insights. The scope is strictly descriptive statistics, so your task is to summarise the current performance rather than predict the future or model trends. I will supply the data in spreadsheet form; you will organise it, clean inconsistencies if they appear, and produce an Excel file that contains:
• Well-labeled summary tables highlighting measures such as mean, median, variance, standard deviation, and any other basic statistics you believe add value.
• Readable charts or a lightweight dashboard that lets me spot patterns at a glance (think PivotTables, PivotCharts, slicers, or similar Excel-native tools).
• A short commentary sheet explaining what the numbers reveal about the business’s present state.
I work almost exclusively in Microsoft 365, so compatibility with modern Excel functions (e.g., XLOOKUP, dynamic arrays) is important. Feel free to harness Power Query for data shaping or a touch of VBA for small automations if that speeds things up.
