Evaluate U.S. influence tools in Latin America (e.g., economic aid, military cooperation, democracy initiatives), their practical effectiveness and limitations, and their implications for the local investment environment. 3. Study the adaptation of domestic and foreign policies in Latin American countries under the influence of U.S. global strategy. 4. Focus on the adjustment of economic models in Latin America and the potential for U.S.-Latin America economic and trade interactions, providing market strategy recommendations for related industries (e.g., energy, biotechnology, tourism, agriculture) based on geopolitical risks. 5. Design contingency management plans for sudden crises in U.S.-Latin America relations (e.g., escalated sanctions, diplomatic incidents), offering clients policy alerts and response pathways. Ideal Candidate Qualifications:​ 1. Ph.D. in International Relations, Political Science, or Regional/Area Studies (Latin America focus), or equivalent experience in policy practice or think tank research in Latin American countries. 2. Familiarity with Latin American political and economic systems, social development, and diplomatic traditions, with a critical perspective and localized knowledge. 3. Ability to employ political economy, sociology, or historical analysis methods in research. 4. Proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese for literature review and fieldwork (English is mandatory).
