Project Description
I have a production React Native application that needs a focused round of maintenance: forty separate user-interface bugs are waiting in our tracker and they are starting to hurt the user experience.
Most of the issues are UI-related and logic, no back-end or data-layer work is required—so your effort will revolve around layout corrections and cleaning up navigation flow glitches.
What you will find in the tracker:
• Layout issues: misaligned components, overlapping elements on small screens, and styling that breaks on tablet resolutions.
• Navigation problems: screens that fail to push or pop correctly, unexpected resets of stack history, and a few modals that refuse to dismiss.
The codebase is React Native (current LTS), TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, and React Navigation 6. You will receive:
1. a Git repository with detailed bug tickets,
2. design references from Figma so you can confirm visual intent, and
3. a testing build for both iOS and Android.
Deliverables expected:
• Commits that close all forty tickets and pass our existing Jest/Detox suites.
• A brief changelog summarising what was fixed, where, and any refactors performed.
• Two release-candidate builds (APK + IPA) showing the corrections in action.
Acceptance criteria: every ticket in the tracker marked “Verified”, no new UI regressions detected by our automated tests, and clean compilation on both platforms.
