Project Description
I run a fast-growing HR-tech SaaS targeting companies (SMBs to mid-market), and I’m looking for an experienced freelance Google Ads specialist to take full ownership of our acquisition on the US market.
This is not a generic lead-gen project. The only metric that matters is qualified pipeline — not just form fills. We’re targeting HR managers, talent acquisition leaders, and founders actively looking for better hiring solutions.
The account already exists but hasn’t been strategically managed. I’m looking for someone who can design and scale a high-intent search strategy from the ground up, with a strong focus on conversion quality and business impact.
Scope of work:
* Full ownership of Google Search campaigns (structure, keywords, segmentation)
* High-intent keyword research (bottom-of-funnel, competitor, problem-aware queries)
* Ad copywriting tailored to US B2B audiences
* Smart bidding strategy aligned with CPL and pipeline goals
* Ongoing optimisation with clear rationale
Tracking & Data (critical):
* Set up and validate conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager + GA4
* Ensure accurate tracking of demo requests and key funnel actions
* Ability to connect performance to pipeline (not just leads)
Deliverables:
* Structured, scalable campaign architecture (SKAGs or equivalent)
* Conversion tracking fully implemented and tested
* Weekly performance reports with actionable insights
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing Google Ads for B2B SaaS (please share examples)
* Demonstrated experience targeting the US market with relevant audiences
* Experience with high-value leads and long sales cycles (demo-based funnels)
* Strong understanding of ICP targeting (HR, Talent, Founders)
* Excellent English copywriting skills (ads targeting US-based decision-makers)
Working style:
* This role is open to independent freelancers only (no agencies or teams)
* Looking for someone hands-on, strategic, and comfortable working autonomously
Bonus:
* Experience in HR tech / ATS / recruiting software
* Experience scaling campaigns in competitive US SaaS environments
Important:
Applications without clear B2B SaaS case studies (including CPL or pipeline impact) will not be considered.
If you’re used to thinking in terms of CPL, SQL, and pipeline—not just clicks—we should talk.
