Project Description
I’m looking for a professional who can take full charge of installing a complete closed-circuit camera system—ten units at minimum, possibly more once we finalise the exact layout. The task spans everything from selecting suitable indoor/outdoor models, running the cabling, mounting the cameras, configuring the NVR and mobile viewing apps, through to a final hand-over walk-through so I’m comfortable with the system.
Key points to note
• Scope: CC camera installation only; no driving, fibre or general electrical work outside what the cameras require.
• Volume: 10+ cameras, so efficient cable management, clean drilling, PoE switching (or equivalent power solutions) and neat termination are essential.
• Hardware: I’m open to your recommended brands—as long as the resolution is at least 1080p, night-vision capable and supports remote viewing.
• Network: Please factor in proper router/NVR configuration and port-forwarding if cloud access is needed.
• Timeline: I’d like the entire system operational within two weeks of contract start.
Acceptance criteria
1. Every camera securely mounted, aligned and delivering a clear feed.
2. All cabling concealed or trunked neatly with no exposed runs.
3. NVR fully configured, recording schedules set and motion alerts tested.
4. Mobile and desktop viewing apps demonstrated and working.
5. Final checklist signed off by both of us.
