Project Description
My Next.js + MongoDB store holds about half-a-million product pages and I have roughly $400 to devote to tightening its technical SEO so Google can crawl, understand and rank the catalogue far better than it does today.
What I need is a hands-on specialist who can dive straight into the codebase, server configuration and deployment pipeline, then implement the changes that move the organic needle. The focus is purely technical SEO: aligning every part of the site with Google’s organic guidelines and lifting overall search-engine rankings.
Key deliverables
• Full technical audit of the live site, highlighting bottlenecks that keep Googlebot from accessing, rendering or indexing pages efficiently.
• Implementation (not just advice) of the top-priority fixes—structured data, canonical logic, dynamic XML sitemaps, pagination handling, duplicate-content controls, server-side vs. client-side rendering adjustments, and any other blockers uncovered in the audit.
• Performance tweaks within the Next.js framework to ensure fast Core Web Vitals without breaking existing functionality.
• Clear, before-and-after metrics showing crawl errors resolved, index coverage improved, and ranking movement for a representative sample of products.
Please be comfortable working with large datasets, Next.js routing, and MongoDB queries, and be able to schedule the work into milestones that fit the overall $400 budget ceiling.
