Project Description
I’m redesigning my existing website and the single, overriding goal is to make it run faster. A leaner codebase alone won’t be enough; the on-page copy also has to pull its weight. I need every headline, paragraph, call-to-action and meta element rewritten so it communicates the same ideas in fewer, cleaner bytes, trims unnecessary characters, and still reads naturally for users and search engines.
You’ll start from the current live pages, keep the structure intact, and produce replacement text that:
• Delivers the core message in a more concise voice,
• Avoids bloated markup or inline styling that slows first paint,
• Preserves existing SEO value while removing fluff that can hurt Core Web Vitals.
Once complete, send the revised copy in a simple text or Markdown file referenced by page and section so my dev can drop it straight into the new build. The work will be considered finished when Lighthouse shows no warnings related to oversized DOM or text compression and the tone still matches the brand.
If you have experience balancing copywriting with performance optimisation and can turn this around quickly, let’s get started.
