2 separate projects: 1.) Braced Wall Plan for structure and then the 2nd project is structural calcs forI need a structural engineer who already holds an active Arizona licence and can place an official structural engineers seal on the work. The project is new-build residential: a 30' × 64' single-story home (about 1,200 sq ft) plus a 24' × 25' two-car garage. Architectural plans have been submitted to the YaVAPAI COUNTY BUILDING DEVELOPMENT DEPT AND THEY ISSUED A CORRECTIONNS REQUESTED PLAN SET. The 2 projects both will be paid $750 for complete completion. The $750 includes any revisions required by the County plan checkers.
Your brief is straightforward but critical for permitting:
• Provide complete load calculations for two heavy wood beams (6 × 10 and 6 × 12) that frame the entry porch. with connection detail, foundation, floor will be architectural pavers.
• Prepare a full braced-wall plan for the house and garage, showing panel locations, lengths, hold-downs, anchor schedules and any uplift or shear requirements in line with the current IRC/IBC adopted by Arizona jurisdictions.
Both items must be issued as a stamped structural packet suitable for immediate submission to the county. If you see a need to adjust member sizes or connection details, include those recommendations in the calcs.
