Project Description
# Cafe Map 3D Environment — Mimic Hunt Mobile Game
## Project Overview
We are developing **Mimic Hunt**, a commercial asymmetric multiplayer mobile game (1 Hunter vs 3 Hiders) based on Prop Hunt mechanics. Hiders disguise themselves as props in the environment to evade the Hunter. We need a complete, production-ready **Cafe environment** as our first launch map.
Engine: **Unity 6 LTS + URP**. Platform: **iOS + Android** (landscape). Reference quality: **Brawl Stars / Marvel Snap / Overwatch 2** (stylized realism).
## Scope — Models & Map ONLY
You will deliver: **all 3D models + materials + textures + assembled Unity scene**. No character work, no animations, no scripting required.
## CRITICAL — Extensive Prop Variety
This is a prop-hunt game. Players will hide as objects. We need a **massive variety of props** so Hiders have rich strategic options and the map feels alive. **We should NEVER need to search elsewhere for additional cafe props.**
**Minimum 80 unique mesh assets.** Sweet spot: **100–120 unique meshes**. Each variant must be visually distinct (not just recolored).
### Required Prop Categories (with quantities)
**Seating (15+ variants):** wood chairs, metal chairs, padded chairs, bar stools, lounge armchairs, booth bench, high chair, outdoor chair, stool
**Tables (8+ variants):** round, square, bar height, coffee table, side table, counter table, outdoor table, kid table
**Drinks ware (15+ variants):** coffee mugs, espresso cups, latte glasses, tea cups, teapots, kettles, water bottles, wine bottles, milk bottles, juice glasses, beer mugs, smoothie cups, takeaway cups, water pitchers, carafes
**Food display (8+ variants):** cake stand, pastry case, bread basket, cookie jar, donut tray, sandwich rack, fruit bowl, dessert plate
**Kitchen appliances (10+ variants):** espresso machine, coffee grinder, blender, milk frother, oven, microwave, fridge, stove, toaster, dishwasher
**Kitchen tools (10+ variants):** knife block, cutting board, mixing bowls, pots, pans, ladle, whisk, rolling pin, scale, measuring cups
**Storage (10+ variants):** cardboard box (small/medium/large), wood crate, metal crate, plastic bin, woven basket, glass jar, ceramic jar, sack, paper bag
**Plants (8+ variants):** small succulent, herb pot, mid-size potted plant, large floor plant, hanging plant, ivy, indoor tree, flower vase
**Lighting (8+ variants):** ceiling pendant, hanging cluster lamp, table lamp, floor lamp, wall sconce, candle, candle holder, string lights
**Books & paper (8+ variants):** single book, book stack, open book, magazine, newspaper, menu booklet, notebook, chalkboard menu
**Decoration (10+ variants):** picture frame (small/large), painting canvas, wall clock, round mirror, vases (3 sizes), sculpture, decorative bottle
**Counter items (8+ variants):** napkin holder, salt shaker, pepper shaker, sugar bowl, tissue box, milk jug, syrup bottle, condiment caddy
**Bags & personal (5+ variants):** small bag, large bag, backpack, laptop bag, purse
**Cleaning & misc (8+ variants):** broom, mop, bucket, dustpan, trash bin (small/large), recycling bin, umbrella, hat rack
This list is the **minimum**. More variety welcome.
## Map Layout
Cafe size: **~40m × 40m**. Multiple distinct zones:
1. **Main hall** (~15×15m) — central seating area, bar/counter, entrance
2. **Kitchen** (~7×8m) — industrial counters, appliances, pantry shelves
3. **Office** (~7×7m) — desk, chair, cabinet, bookshelf, small couch
4. **Storage** (~5×7m) — shelves with boxes, cleaning supplies
5. **Bathroom** (~4×5m) — sinks, mirrors, stalls
6. **Outdoor terrace** (~8×6m) — outdoor tables, umbrellas, plant pots, string lights
7. **Display window** (~8×3m) — glass display, pastries on display, decorative items
All rooms must be **fully populated** (not empty boxes).
## Technical Specifications
**Polycount:**
- Total assembled scene: **under 250,000 triangles**
- Hero props (large furniture): 1,500–3,000 tris
- Medium props (chairs, lamps): 500–1,500 tris
- Small props (cups, books): 100–500 tris
**Textures:**
- Atlas textures wherever possible (one 2048×2048 atlas for small props)
- Max sizes: Hero 1024, Medium 512, Small 256 (atlased)
- PBR-ready: Albedo + Normal + Metallic-Smoothness + Emissive
- sRGB albedo, linear MRA, no overlapping UV1
**UV Channels:**
- UV0: Texture
- UV1: Lightmap (must be present, no overlap)
**LODs:** LOD0 (full), LOD1 (~50%), LOD2 (~25%) — LOD groups configured in Unity
**Colliders:**
- Architecture: mesh colliders (walls, floors)
- Props: primitive (box/capsule/sphere) — NO convex mesh colliders on props
**Pivots:** All props pivot at ground-base center (y=0 at base). Critical for instantiation.
## Deliverables
- All FBX files (binary, embedded textures OFF)
- All PNG/TGA textures (separate)
- Unity .unitypackage (complete, import-ready)
- Source files (.blend / .ma) for future edits
