Excel Chemical Engineering Simulation Aspen HYSYS Process Engineering Process Simulation
Re-advertised due to scope refinement and clarification. I need stable, and easily editable Aspen Plus V14.2 anaerobic digestion model for academic research. The model should represent the complete anaerobic digestion process from feed input through biogas generation and should be suitable for sensitivity analysis, optimization studies, and later experimental validation. Monod-based kinetic or full ADM1 approach can be used (ADM1 prefered). The model must be cleanly structured, clearly labeled, and easy to modify later without rebuilding the flowsheet. The simulation must allow easy variation of: • Feedstock composition and mixing ratio • Hydraulic Retention Time (HRT) • Operating temperature with automatic updating of: • Methane yield • Total biogas production • Biogas composition (CH4/CO2) • Major mass and energy balance outputs Key deliverables • Fully working Aspen Plus V14.2 file (.bkp/.apw) • Configured digestion stages using appropriate reactor blocks (RCSTR/RStoic or equivalent) • Sensitivity analysis setup for feedstock composition, HRT, and temperature • Publication-quality graphs and detailed output tables • Excel/CSV-exportable results • Stream, reactor, and reaction summary report in PDF or Word Detailed technical documentation is required, including: • Model assumptions • Property methods used • Reactor configuration and process logic • Reaction/kinetic approach • Key equations and parameters • Explanation of streams and unit operations • Clear guidance on how to modify feed composition, operating conditions, and sensitivity ranges • Step-by-step explanation of the flowsheet so the model can be independently edited and expanded later Acceptance criteria • Fully converged and stable steady-state simulation • Clear flowsheet labeling and organized structure • Easy modification of feedstock composition and operating conditions • Reproducible sensitivity analysis results suitable for later experimental validation work I will provide: • Feedstock composition data • Operating/process conditions • Required ranges and assumptions Budget Fixed budget: $90–120 USD depending on model quality, convergence stability, documentation quality, and completeness of deliverables. Please send: • A short outline of the kinetic/reaction approach you plan to implement • Recommended property methods for the system • Any related anaerobic digestion/biogas Aspen Plus work if available
