Summary
We are an early-stage fashion brand developing a chest binder for trans people and need a technical apparel designer to help convert our design concepts into a production-ready tech pack.

Reference brands: UNTAG, WIVOV, FLUXION
Scope of work
- Create a tech pack for a chest binder.
- Develop measurement and spec sheets.
- Provide construction details.
- Offer BOM and material guidance.
You should know how to work with:
- compression garments / activewear / lingerie / sport bras / leggings /
- stretch fabrics and fit
- pattern development and garment construction
- supplier-ready tech packs
About you:
Ideally you understand what a chest binder is, how it is constructed and what it is used for (but we can brief you about that, just know that is similar to a sport bra but compresses the chest tissue).
You have very good expertise in working with stretch and compressive fabrics.
You also know how to make a comprehensive tech pack that is ready for production. You can guide us in any missing step that we might not be thinking about.
Bonus points:
- you have strong vision on sustainability
- you know manufacturers in EU or nearby that produce ethically with low MOQs
- you are queer!
