Our high school needs a web-based platform that unifies three core functions—maintaining detailed student records, tracking daily attendance, and managing gradebooks—so staff, students, and administrators can all work from the same, up-to-date data set.
The Student Information System module should store and edit personal details, enrollment status, contact information, and any support notes faculty might need. Attendance Tracking must let teachers mark each period quickly, surface absences or tardies in real time, and generate summary reports for administrators. Gradebook Management has to handle assignment scores, weightings, final grade calculations, and produce printable or downloadable report cards.
Role-based access is essential:
• Teachers enter attendance and grades for their own classes.
• Students log in to view timetables, attendance history, and current grades.
• Administrators oversee all data, run reports, and manage user accounts.
The finished system will include a responsive interface, secure authentication, and clear user documentation. Please plan for straightforward deployment on a standard web hosting environment and include a brief hand-off session so our in-house IT lead can maintain the platform after launch.
