Each month I coordinate shoots for 15 different brands across Mumbai and need around 300 short promotional videos that speak to the general public and spark real customer engagement. The schedule is tight, the locations vary (malls, cafés, outdoor spots, small offices, even the occasional local landmark), and the visual style has to stay fresh while remaining consistent in quality.
Here is how the flow usually works. I share a weekly call sheet with addresses, brief talking-points and any brand guidelines. You arrive, capture clean video with good natural-sounding audio, gather a quick B-roll sequence, and hand over the footage the same day—either on a drive or via cloud upload. Most clips run 30–90 seconds; resolution must be full-HD minimum, 4K preferred, and footage should be colour-balanced and stabilised in-camera wherever possible. No heavy editing is required at this stage; I simply need material that can drop straight onto an editor’s timeline.
Because volume is everything here, reliability and efficient file organisation matter as much as your eye for framing. A mirrorless/DSLR kit with fast lenses, gimbal, basic three-point LED setup and lapel or shotgun mics will cover 90 % of scenarios. If you are comfortable handling quick permissions, working light and moving fast through Mumbai traffic, you will fit right in.
Deliverables each month
• 300 labelled video files (per-client folders)
• Matching B-roll for each clip
• Same-day digital transfer after every shoot
Footage that is sharp, correctly exposed and has clean audio is considered accepted; anything falling short will be reshot or rejected before sign-off. I keep communication simple—confirm the brief, shoot, upload, done—so we can stay focused on turning those 300 promo spots into real-time engagement for all 15 clients.
