Every time I open VisionPoint to create a new purchase order, “ghost” line-items appear—records that were never added, don’t show on the printed PO, yet linger in the database and stop me from saving. The problem started the moment I tried entering a fresh purchase order and now happens on every single attempt.
I need someone who knows their way around VisionPoint’s backend (tables, data integrity routines and any related SQL/Visual FoxPro utilities) to:
• Locate the underlying cause of these ghost items.
• Clean the current data so no phantom records remain.
• Validate that new purchase orders save and print correctly without introducing more stray records.
• Provide a brief summary of what was fixed so I can prevent a repeat.
