Affordable Watercolor Children’s Illustration

I’m publishing a children’s picture book that follows two women who fall in love during an unforgettable journey through Israel. The vision is a vibrant, realistic watercolor look—rich washes of colour, gentle line work, and genuine warmth that will resonate with kids and parents alike. For the first milestone I only need the cover, featuring the two protagonists and an evocative Israeli backdrop, with room for the title only. Should everything align creatively (and within my limited budget) I’ll move on to commission the remaining 10–20 interior illustrations in the same style, so think of the cover as the gateway to a fuller collaboration. Deliverables • Full-bleed cover illustration (front, spine, back) in CMYK 300 dpi, ready for print and ebook. • Layered source file (PSD, Procreate, or similar) plus a hi-res flattened PDF/PNG. • Transfer of full commercial rights. Acceptance criteria • Realistic character likenesses and culturally accurate Israeli setting. • Bright watercolor textures; no muddy or opaque digital strokes. • Clear focal area for the title/author name only. • Final files meet the printer’s trim and bleed specs.
